My 11-year-old Chocolate Lab Mocha has been on the senior formula for about a year now. Her arthritis seems more manageable and she’s maintained her weight really well. The kibble is smaller too which is perfect since some of her teeth aren’t what they used to be. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about a “farm store brand” at first. But her last vet visit was great, bloodwork perfect, coat condition excellent for her age. Sometimes the less flashy brands are actually better than the ones with all the marketing hype.

Tried transitioning my senior Cocker Spaniel, Bella, to Badlands Ranch after years on Science Diet. The change has been remarkable, her energy is up and she’s actually playing with toys again. Her chronic ear infections have also decreased since switching. Not sure if it’s related to the food or just coincidence, but I’m not complaining. The vet thinks the improved nutrition might be supporting her immune system better.🐕

Only issue is the price, fixed income makes it tough to justify. Been mixing it 50/50 with a slightly cheaper option to make it last longer. Has anyone else tried this approach successfully?
