My Terrier mix Gizmo has always had digestive sensitivity until I found Wild Harvest Natural dog food. The clean ingredients and real meat content have been perfect for his delicate stomach. Wild Harvest Lamb & Oatmeal eliminated Gizmo’s chronic stomach upset completely. His stools became firm and consistent, and his coat got soft and shiny again. Gradual transition over a week worked perfectly – no digestive issues at all. Gizmo’s appetite and enthusiasm for food returned. Best natural dog food for sensitive stomachs at this price point. Great choice for medium breeds.

Had a similar experience with Badlands Ranch for my German Shepherd mix, Rex. He absolutely loved the taste from day one and his digestion improved significantly. However, I found the kibble size a bit large for my friend’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel when she tried it.

As an alternative for smaller breeds, I’d recommend Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula, the kibble size is more manageable and still high quality. It’s slightly less expensive too which helps with the budget.

Anyone else notice their dogs drinking more water with Badlands Ranch? Rex seems to be extra thirsty lately. As always, keep monitoring your pup and chat with your vet if anything seems off.

Great results! Just a tip: I rotate between beef and salmon every other week to give my dog variety. It keeps him interested and ensures he’s not lacking in amino acids.

I also sometimes substitute quinoa for rice. It has a lower glycemic index and is great for dogs prone to weight gain.
