Bully Max Dog Food
KeymasterHi everyone!
I’ve been hearing a lot about Bully Max Dog Food, especially the High Performance formula. I’m thinking about switching my pit to it but wanted to hear real reviews from this community first.
Is it worth the price?
Any visible changes in your dog’s health, coat, or energy?
How does it compare to other high-protein dog foods?Would love to hear your experiences!

GuestI’ve been using Bully Max High Performance for about 4 months now for my 2-year-old pit, and honestly, the results have been solid. The price made me hesitate at first, but I’ve found it to be worth it, especially if you’re looking to put on healthy weight or boost energy.
Visible changes?
Yes, her coat is glossier, and she’s noticeably more muscular and active during play sessions. She used to nap most of the day after a long walk, but now she’s got more consistent energy throughout the day. No digestive issues either, which was a concern I had.I previously fed her Taste of the Wild and also tried Victor Hi-Pro Plus, but Bully Max seems to outperform both in terms of energy and muscle tone, though it is richer, so start slow if your pup has a sensitive stomach.
Overall, I’d say if your pit is active or you’re trying to help with muscle gain, it’s worth trying for a few months and seeing how your dog responds.

GuestHey, thanks for sharing your experience! I’m based in France and have also been using Bully Max High Performance for my 3-year-old Amstaff, and I’ve seen very similar results. Her energy levels went way up, and her coat got noticeably shinier within the first month.
Like you, I was a bit hesitant about the price at first, especially with shipping to Europe, but honestly, it’s been worth it. I had tried Orijen and Carnilove before, but Bully Max gave her more endurance and better muscle tone overall.
Agree with starting slow, especially if your dog has a sensitive stomach. I introduced it gradually over two weeks and had no issues.

GuestAbsolutely, I’ve been using Bully Max High Performance for my pitbull for about 4 months now, and I can honestly say it lives up to the hype.
At first, I was a bit unsure about the price. It’s more expensive than some other brands I’ve used, like Taste of the Wild or Victor Hi-Pro Plus, but the results made it worth every cent for me.
Here’s what I noticed:
Health & Energy: Within a few weeks, my pit started showing more consistent energy. Before, she’d get tired after a long walk or intense play session — now she’s active throughout the day, even with the same amount of exercise.Coat & Muscle Tone: Her coat became noticeably shinier and softer. I’ve also seen visible improvement in her muscle definition — especially around her shoulders and back legs.
Digestive Health: No stomach issues at all, which was one of my initial concerns. I transitioned slowly over a week, and that seemed to help a lot.
Compared to other high-protein foods:
Bully Max feels richer and more concentrated, so you feed a little less per meal. My pit responds better to this than to Victor, which gave her more bulk but less energy. Taste of the Wild was decent, but didn’t help much with muscle gain.If your goal is to build lean muscle, improve stamina, and maintain a healthy coat, I’d highly recommend giving it a shot for at least a month or two. Just make sure to ease into it if your dog has a sensitive gut.
Let me know if you want help with transitioning or feeding tips, I’ve done a bit of trial and error to find what works best.

GuestWow, I just stumbled across this forum and I’m so glad I did! 🙌
I’ve been debating between Bully Max and Victor Hi-Pro Plus for weeks now. My pit has been on Victor but I haven’t seen a major difference in energy or build. After reading all your reviews here, I think Bully Max is worth a try.July 4, 2025 at 11:04 pm #198PupParent98
GuestHonestly, this is the most helpful thread I’ve found on Bully Max. Reddit and other sites are full of mixed info, but the real stories here are gold.
I used to feed my bully Diamond Naturals decent food, but he’d still get tired quick. Looks like Bully Max might be the upgrade we need. 👀July 4, 2025 at 11:05 pm #199K9Fueler
GuestGlad I found this forum, really refreshing to see honest feedback without the hype. I’ve been using Taste of the Wild, and while it’s not bad, my dog didn’t really bulk up like I expected. Thinking of switching to Bully Max Performance formula. Anyone tried both?

GuestSo, I’ve been using Bully Max on my Pit named Duke for about 8 months now. Honestly, I’m impressed. His coat shines, he’s packed on solid muscle, and he’s got this boundless energy that keeps me on my toes. I like that the first ingredient is real meat, not corn or fillers. That said, it is more expensive than the grocery-store kibble. But for me, Duke’s health makes it worth it. If you can afford it, I’d say give it a try just introduce it slowly to avoid tummy issues. 🐶

GuestBeen feeding my Rottweiler, Bella, Bully Max for 6 months now. Big change in her energy levels she’s more playful and even gained lean muscle. The high-protein content seems to be doing its job. Downside? The price tag. Definitely not cheap, but I see it as an investment in her health. Also, make sure you keep exercise in the routine. Food alone won’t bulk them up. 🦴🐾

GuestOkay, so my tiny guy isn’t exactly the “bully breed” type, but I still tried Bully Max out of curiosity. He actually likes the taste (surprise!) and his coat looks way better now. Haven’t noticed muscle gain (he’s too small for that), but energy and digestion are definitely improved. I’d just warn folksnnot every dog will like the flavor. Some of my friend’s pups turned up their noses. Try a small bag first

GuestNot gonna lie, I had to think twice before buying because of the price. But after 4 months on Bully Max, my Pit Bruno looks healthier than ever muscle tone, coat, everything. Still, it stings the wallet a bit. If they ever offer discounts or bulk packs, I’d be first in line. For anyone on the fence: if budget isn’t tight, go for it. If it is, maybe save it for times your dog needs an extra boost🙌🔥

GuestJust wanted to drop in and say Bully Max has been a total win for my Pit, Tyson. Before, he was super picky with kibble, but now he cleans the bowl every time. His coat is soft, his energy is up, and even our vet commented on how good he looks lately. Not cheap, but honestly, cheaper than extra vet visits in the long run. I call it his “power food.” 💪🐶

GuestOkay, so my Golden Retriever isn’t exactly the target “bully breed,” but wow Bully Max has been working wonders. More playful, shinier coat, and I swear she’s got more muscle on her back legs. The flavor must be good too because she wolfs it down like steak.
Tip: start slow if your pup has a sensitive stomach. Mine adjusted in a week and hasn’t looked back since.September 1, 2025 at 10:19 am #297SkepticalButHappy
GuestNot gonna lie, I was super skeptical about the hype. Thought it was just marketing fluff. But after 3 months on Bully Max, my Rottie Maximus looks like a different dog. Fuller chest, shiny coat, and more stamina on our hikes. The only downside? My wallet cries a little every month. 😂 Still worth it though, if you ask me.
