[Bully Max Dog Food]

Hi everyone,

My senior dog was recently diagnosed with early-stage kidney disease, and our vet recommended switching to a kidney support dog food to help manage the condition through diet.

I’ve started researching options, but I’m overwhelmed by all the choices—prescription diets, low-protein formulas, homemade recipes, etc. I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience feeding a dog with kidney issues.

I’d love to know:

• Which kidney-support food brands are you using (Hill’s k/d, Royal Canin, Blue Natural Vet Diet, etc.)?

• Any noticeable improvements in energy, appetite, or overall health?

• Are you feeding prescription food or going homemade with vet guidance?

• Any tips for keeping meals palatable (mine’s already getting picky)?

• Supplements or hydration tricks you’ve found helpful?

This is new territory for me, and I want to do everything I can to support my dog’s kidneys and give him the best quality of life.
