I’m looking to switch my dog to a diet that supports healthy skin, coat, and joints, and I keep reading about the benefits of salmon oil in dog food.

From what I’ve gathered, salmon oil is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA), which help with:

• Itchy, dry skin and shedding

• Shiny, healthy coat

• Joint inflammation

• Cognitive and heart health

Rather than adding a separate supplement, I’d prefer to find a high-quality dog food that already contains salmon oil as part of the formula.
