BalancedDogMeals
ParticipantHey dog lovers! ๐
Iโve been looking into Exclusive Signature Dog Food as a potential switch for my dog, and Iโd love to hear from anyone who’s currently using it or has in the past.
It seems like itโs made with real meat as the first ingredient, includes OMEGA fatty acids, probiotics, and no fillers which all sounds great on paper. But Iโm curious about real experiences:
- How has your dog responded to it?
- Any noticeable changes in energy, digestion, or coat condition?
- Which formula are you using (chicken, lamb, etc.)?
- Would you recommend it over other premium options?
Iโm especially interested in how well it works for sensitive stomachs or picky eaters. Appreciate any insight you can share!
Thanks in advance! ๐พ

ParticipantMy German Shepherd Rex has chicken allergies, so we switched to Exclusive Signature Lamb & Rice about 6 months ago. It’s been amazing for his food sensitivities. What’s worked well for us: single protein source doesn’t trigger his reactions, no weird artificial stuff that used to make him itchy, the omega fatty acids really helped heal his skin, probiotics settled his stomach issues, much more affordable than other hypoallergenic foods. Rex went from having patchy, irritated skin to a gorgeous thick coat. The transformation took about 3 weeks to really see results. We pay around $45 for a 30 lb bag which lasts us almost 6 weeks. Honestly can’t recommend it enough for dogs with allergies.

ParticipantOMG finally found something my Beagle Daisy will actually eat! ๐ This girl has turned her nose up at everything, Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, even some of those fancy boutique brands. But Exclusive Signature Beef & Rice? She practically does backflips when she sees me getting her bowl ready. I think it’s the smell honestly. When you open the bag it actually smells like real meat instead of that weird processed kibble smell. She’s gained back the weight she lost from being so picky and her energy is back to normal. Sometimes you just gotta find what works, you know?

ParticipantBeen in the vet field for 12 years and I feed Exclusive Signature to my own dogs. The ingredient list is solid, real deboned chicken, sweet potatoes, fish oil for omega-3s. No corn, wheat, soy or by-products. What I like is the consistency. We see so many dogs with digestive upset when brands randomly change their formulas, but Exclusive Signature has been reliable. My Lab mix Charlie has been on it for 2 years with zero issues. His blood work at annual exams is always perfect. Price point is reasonable too you’re getting premium quality without the premium markup that some brands charge just for fancy packaging.

ParticipantFeeding three dogs gets expensive fast! We switched everyone to Exclusive Signature last year and it’s been great. Two Labs get the chicken formula and our Shepherd mix with skin issues gets the lamb. The 40-lb bags are the way to go if you’ve got multiple dogs. We’re spending about $130/month total which is way less than what we used to pay for “premium” brands. All three dogs are thriving, shiny coats, good energy, solid poops (sorry TMI but it matters! ๐). Only thing is you gotta go to Tractor Supply or Rural King to get it, but honestly the drive is worth the savings.

ParticipantJust transitioned my Golden Retriever puppy Max from the breeder’s food to Exclusive Signature Puppy. The switch went super smooth – no digestive upset at all. He’s 4 months old now and growing like a weed. The DHA content is great for brain development and the protein levels are perfect for large breed puppies. Vet said his growth curve is exactly where it should be. Planning to switch to their adult formula when he’s ready, love that the brand is consistent across life stages.

ParticipantHonestly wasn’t expecting much when I first tried Exclusive Signature but my Boxer Duke loves it. We were feeding Blue Buffalo before but it was getting crazy expensive and Duke’s coat wasn’t looking great. Made the switch about 4 months ago and wow, what a difference. His coat is so much shinier and he actually seems more energetic. Could be coincidence but his bad breath improved too. The price difference is huge, saving probably $25 per bag compared to Blue Buffalo.

ParticipantMy Australian Cattle Dog Scout is super active and burns through calories like crazy. Exclusive Signature keeps up with his energy needs perfectly. The protein content is solid and he maintains his weight easily even with all our hiking and running. Been feeding it for over a year now and never had a bad bag. Quality control seems really good. I store it in airtight containers and it stays fresh for months. For working dogs or really active breeds, it’s definitely worth considering.

ParticipantWe’ve got two Labs and one is super sensitive to food changes. When we switched to Exclusive Signature, I was really careful with the transition – took about 10 days mixing old and new food gradually. Both dogs adjusted great and their digestion actually improved. The one with the sensitive stomach hasn’t had any issues in 6 months which is a record for us. Plus buying the big bags and splitting between two dogs makes it pretty economical.

ParticipantMy 11-year-old Chocolate Lab Mocha has been on the senior formula for about a year now. Her arthritis seems more manageable and she’s maintained her weight really well. The kibble is smaller too which is perfect since some of her teeth aren’t what they used to be. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about a “farm store brand” at first. But her last vet visit was great, bloodwork perfect, coat condition excellent for her age. Sometimes the less flashy brands are actually better than the ones with all the marketing hype.

ParticipantWas totally overwhelmed by all the dog food options when I got my rescue dog Bella. My neighbor recommended Exclusive Signature and I’m so glad I listened. Bella went from being kind of picky to actually getting excited about meals. The transition was easy and I love that I can actually pronounce all the ingredients. No weird chemical names or mysterious “natural flavors.” Her coat got softer and she just seems healthier overall. Sometimes simple is better.

ParticipantMy American Bully Tank needs high-quality protein to maintain his muscle mass. Exclusive Signature delivers without breaking the bank. He’s been on it 8 months and looks amazing, muscle definition is great and his coat is like velvet. Compared to some of the “muscle building” foods that cost $80+ per bag, this gives similar results for half the price. Tank’s energy is consistent and he recovers well from our training sessions. Really happy with this choice.
