    Hey guys!
So I switched my Golden Retriever Max to Badlands Ranch dog food about 2 months ago and wow… his coat is SO shiny now! 😍 Like seriously, people keep asking what I’m feeding him.

    The good stuff:

    • Max LOVES the taste (he was picky before)
    • His digestion is way better
    • Energy levels are amazing during our walks 🚶‍♀️
    • Real meat first ingredient, no weird fillers

    The not so great:

    1. It’s pretty expensive 😅 like $75 for a bag
    2. Hard to find in stores near me
    3. Had to order online most times

Has anyone else tried Badlands Ranch dog food? What’s your experience been like? Worth the premium price or should I look at other options?
Also curious, do you guys feed this to multiple dogs or is it too pricey for that?
Would love to hear your honest reviews. Every dog is different but Max seems to be thriving on it 🐾
    Thanks!

Had a similar experience with Badlands Ranch for my German Shepherd mix, Rex. He absolutely loved the taste from day one and his digestion improved significantly. However, I found the kibble size a bit large for my friend’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel when she tried it.

As an alternative for smaller breeds, I’d recommend Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula, the kibble size is more manageable and still high quality. It’s slightly less expensive too which helps with the budget.

Anyone else notice their dogs drinking more water with Badlands Ranch? Rex seems to be extra thirsty lately. As always, keep monitoring your pup and chat with your vet if anything seems off.

Been feeding my Beagle mix Charlie the Badlands Ranch grain-free formula for about 6 weeks now. The transition went smoother than expected and his coat has never looked shinier. Though I have to say, the price point definitely makes me think twice before reordering. Switched from Purina Pro Plan and honestly, Charlie seems more satisfied after meals, less begging and counter surfing. The ingredient list is impressive compared to what we were using before.

My Golden Retriever Luna has been on Badlands Ranch for 3 months now and I’m genuinely impressed. Her energy levels during our morning hikes have improved noticeably, and the vet commented on her healthy weight at the last checkup. That said, I did notice it took about 2 weeks for her system to fully adjust, had some minor loose stools initially. Made sure to transition slowly by mixing with her old food for the first week.

For those considering the switch, definitely budget accordingly. It’s about $20-30 more per month than what I was spending on Kirkland Signature, but the quality difference is noticeable. Worth every penny in my opinion.

Tried Badlands Ranch with my rescue Pit Bull mix Rocco after reading all the positive reviews here. He’s typically a picky eater but demolished his first bowl! However, I found myself questioning if it’s worth the premium price for a single-dog household. Ended up alternating between Badlands Ranch and Wellness Core, gives Rocco some variety while managing costs. Both are high-quality options and he seems happy with the rotation. Has anyone else tried mixing different premium brands? My vet said it’s fine as long as you’re consistent with transition periods. Would love to hear other approaches.🐕

My senior Labrador, Duke (11 years old), has been thriving on Badlands Ranch for the past 4 months. His arthritis seems more manageable and he’s showing puppy-like enthusiasm at meal times again. The omega fatty acids in the formula seem to be helping his joint health alongside his supplements. His coat, which was getting dull, is now glossy and soft again.

One thing to watch, Duke gained about 3 pounds initially. Had to adjust portion sizes since the food is more calorie-dense than his previous brand. Senior dogs especially need careful monitoring when switching foods.🐾

Been feeding my Border Collie Sage the Badlands Ranch salmon formula and she absolutely goes crazy for it! Her intelligence was always there, but I swear her focus during training sessions has improved since the switch.

The only challenge is finding it locally, ended up setting up a subscription delivery to save on shipping. It arrives every 6 weeks which works perfectly for our consumption rate. For working breeds like Border Collies, the protein content seems ideal. Sage maintains her energy throughout our agility training without any digestive issues. Definitely recommend for active dogs.

Skeptical husband here who got convinced to try Badlands Ranch for our Yorkie, Peanut. I’ll admit, the results speak for themselves, his tear staining has reduced significantly and his small-dog attitude has somehow gotten even bigger. The kibble size works well for small breeds, unlike some other “premium” foods we’ve tried. Peanut can actually chew it properly instead of swallowing pieces whole. Still expensive for a 7-pound dog, but we’re spending less on vet visits for digestive issues. Sometimes investing upfront saves money long-term. Anyone else notice reduced vet bills after switching?

My Great Dane puppy Thor has been on Badlands Ranch Large Breed formula for 8 weeks now. His growth has been steady and controlled, exactly what you want for giant breeds to prevent joint issues later. The calcium and phosphorus ratios seem well-balanced for large breed development. His coat is gorgeous and he’s maintaining a healthy lean build despite his massive appetite.

Portion control is crucial with this food though, it’s nutrient-dense so you don’t need as much as cheaper brands. Took me a few weeks to dial in the right amount for Thor’s age and activity level.

Tried transitioning my senior Cocker Spaniel, Bella, to Badlands Ranch after years on Science Diet. The change has been remarkable, her energy is up and she’s actually playing with toys again. Her chronic ear infections have also decreased since switching. Not sure if it’s related to the food or just coincidence, but I’m not complaining. The vet thinks the improved nutrition might be supporting her immune system better.🐕

Only issue is the price, fixed income makes it tough to justify. Been mixing it 50/50 with a slightly cheaper option to make it last longer. Has anyone else tried this approach successfully?

Been feeding my Australian Shepherd pair (Copper and Penny) Badlands Ranch for about 5 months now. Both dogs have maintained excellent body condition and their herding drive seems even sharper during farm work. The food consistency is great, no batch-to-batch variation that I’ve noticed with some other brands. Both dogs eagerly anticipate meal times and clean their bowls completely.

Ordering in bulk helps with the cost, I get a slight discount and free shipping on orders over $75. For multiple dogs, the subscription service is definitely worth setting up.🐾

My French Bulldog Jacques has been on Badlands Ranch dog food for 3 months and his breathing seems slightly improved with this premium dog nutrition. Frenchies are prone to weight gain, and this high-quality dog food helps him feel satisfied without overeating.

The Badlands Ranch kibble size is perfect for his flat face, he can pick up this premium dog food easily without struggling. His skin allergies have also calmed down since switching from a grain-inclusive dog food formula to this grain-free dog food option. Only complaint is the Badlands Ranch dog food price for a 25-pound bag doesn’t last long with Jacques’ appetite. Been supplementing with some frozen green beans to help him feel full without extra calories while maintaining his premium dog nutrition.

I tried Badlands Ranch Superfood Complete for my Golden Retriever Daisy, and the results have been really impressive. Within a couple of months, her digestion improved noticeably no more loose stools or bloating. The freeze-dried formula is packed with nutrient-dense ingredients like salmon, beef, and antioxidant rich fruits and veggies, which gave her coat a noticeable shine. What stood out most was her energyshe used to nap a lot more, but now she’s playful throughout the day. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but considering the quality of ingredients and how well Daisy is thriving, I feel it’s worth it.🐾

I put my rescue Shepherd mix Luna on Badlands Ranch Superfood Complete 3 months ago because of its air dried formula and whole food ingredients. She was a picky eater and often left kibble untouched. Now, mealtime is her favorite part of the day she actually finishes her bowl. Her digestion improved a lot, no more gas or soft stool. Her coat has become thicker and super glossy, and she’s more playful. Transition took about 7 days, and she adapted quickly. It’s on the pricier side, but the quality ingredients make it worth it. If you want nutrient-dense food without fillers, this is a solid option. 🦴🐾

My Golden Cooper has been eating Badlands Ranch for 5 months, and the results are obvious. The freeze dried food looks like real meat, and he devours it. His coat is soft, digestion is smooth, and his energy feels more balanced. Yes, it’s pricey bags run much higher than most kibbles but the visible benefits make it worthwhile if budget isn’t the biggest concern. For me, it’s one of the few premium foods that truly shows results.
